Rowena, born and raised on Kauai, began her real estate career in 1978. Early 1980, Cobb Realty was established believing that a small office was effective and sufficient as a single-woman office. The expansion came quickly as involvement in community activities became prominent in Rowena’s schedule.
Following Hurricane Iniki, returning to a single-woman office seemed natural but the demand for “professional service” continued…even today. |

As Past
President of the Kauai Board of Realtors (KBR),
she has since held every office and continues to
serve in several capacities in both KBR and the
Hawaii Association of Realtors (HAR).
Additionally, Rowena served on the founding
committee of the statewide Multiple Listing
Service and became its first Chair of Board of
Directors. Her community connectivity includes
former Director and President of Ho’ike: Kauai
Community Television; involvement in the Koloa
Community Association Board of Directors and the
Kauai United Way.
Rowena hold advanced degrees as a Certified
Residential Broker (CRB), a Certified
Residential Specialist (CRS) and a Graduate of
the Realtor’s Institute (GRI) and is currently a
HAR certified instructor in Continuing Education
for real estate licensees. Rowena’s
professionalism is exemplified by her inclusion
in many publications including “Who’s Who Among
Executive Women”, “Who’s Who of Women in the
West”, “Who’s Who in the Pacific”, Who’s Who
Among American Women and others.
